B. Pull:
This function is a self-service type concept where the account holder requests information about his/ her own account or credit card using specific codes which are listed against each function below. A prompt message will be sent back to the customer from Mobile banking with the relevant information. The speed of how fast does the customer get back a reply is dependent of the service provider.
Just follow 3 easy steps:

1. Account Summary
This function enables you to view all accounts available under your customer number along with the currency and account description.

Simply key in: ASXXXXXXXXXXX (The XXXXXXXXXXX stands for the 11 digits of your account number)

For Example, if your account number is 021-11111111-01 just enter: AS02111111111

Example of Message Format
"The Summary of A/C 011-XXX11XXX-11 AED 8002.1+ 021-XXX11XXX-01 AED 49904-"

2. Available Balance
This function enables you to view the present available balance of any account type (Current Account, Savings Account, Special Current Account, Currency Passport Savings Account, Fixed Deposits, Call Account, Plan A/c) along with the currency and the debit/ credit status.

Simply key in: ABXXXXXXXXXXXXX (The XXXXXXXXXXXXX stands for the 13 digits of your account number or 16 digits of your Fixed deposit account number)

For Example, if your account number is 021-23456789-01 just enter: AB0212345678901 or 151-12345678-90123 just enter AB1511234567890123"

Example of Message Format
"AED 1,000.00 is Available Balance for your account 021-XXX56XXX-01"

3. Credit Card Details
This function will enable you to view details of the credit card. These details include total credit limit, available credit, and present balance.

Simply key in: CDXXXXX (The XXXXX stands for the last 5 digits of the credit card number)

For Example, if your Credit Card Number is 1234-5678-1234-9876 and you want to receive the Credit Card Details, the message format will be: CD49876

 Example of  Message Format
"Credit Card you have specified, Credit limit is AED 10,000.00+ available credit is AED 9,998.50+ Present Balance is AED 1.50+"

4. Credit Card Payment Details
This function will enable you to view payment details of your credit card. The details include minimum payment due and payment due date.

Simply key in: PDXXXXX (The XXXXX stands for the last 5 digits of the credit card number)

For Example, if your Credit Card Number is 1234-5678-1234-9876 and you want to receive the Credit Card Payment Details, the message format will be: PD49876

 Example of Message Format
"Credit Card you have specified, Minimum Payment due is AED 0.00+ Payment due date is 22Jan03"

5. Currency Passport Savings A/c Rates
This function will enable you to view the savings account interest rate for all of the 3 currencies (GBP, USD, EUR)

Simply Key In: CPSA

Available Currencies (GBP, USD, EUR)

 Example of Message Format
"Interest rates for CPSA A/Cs are: GBP 2.875 USD 3.625 EUR 2.875"

6. Exchange rates
This function enables the user to view the buying and selling rate for any of the 23 foreign currencies listed below, against AED.

Simply key in: FXzzz (The zzz stands for the currency code required)

Available Currencies: AUD, BHD, BDT, CAD, LKR, INR, JPY, JOD, KWD, OMR, NOK, PKR, QAR, SAR, SGD, SEK, CHF, GBP, USD, EUR, NZD, DKK, HKD.

For Example, if you want to find out the US Dollar rate against AED rate simply key in FXUSD

Example of Message Format
"As per your request, the USD rate against AED is: Buy rate 3.653 Sell rate 3.685"

7. Fixed Deposit Rates
This function enables the user to view the fixed deposit rates for any of the following 8 currencies: AUD, CAD, JPY, CHF, AED, GBP, USD, EUR. Rates will be displayed against each period code.

Simply Key In: FDzzz (The zzz stands for the currency code required)

For Example, if you want to find out the US Dollar Fixed Deposit Rate simply key in FDUSD

Example of Message Format
"FD interest rates for USD are: 1 month 0.7500 3 months 0.7500 6 months 0.7500 12 months 0.8750"

8. Mini Account Statement
This function will enable you to view the last 4 transactions of your account, displaying the date, description, amount and dr/cr status of each transaction.

Simply Key In: MASXXXXXXXXXXXXX (The XXXXXXXXXXXXX stands for the 13 digits of your account number or 16 digits of your Fixed deposit account number)

For Example, if your account number is 021-23456789-01 or 151-12345678-90123 and you want to view the last 4 transactions of the account, displaying the date, description, amount and Dr/Cr status of each transaction, the message format will be: MAS0212345678901 or MAS1511234567890123

Example of Message Format
"The last 4 tranx of A/c 021-XXX56XXX-01 are 05Jan2009 DR SALARY 3,700.00- 24Jan2009 DR ATM TRANS 100.00- 28DEC2009 DR ATM TRANS 100.00- 29DEC2009 DR ATM TRANS 300.00-"

9. Mini Card Statement
This function will enable you to view the last 4 credit card transactions displaying the date, description, amount and dr/cr status of each transaction.

Simply Key In: MCSXXXXX (The XXXXX stands for the last 5 digits of the credit card number parameter required)

For Example, if your Credit Card Number is 1234-5678-1234-9876 and you want to receive the last 4 Credit Card transactions displaying the date, description, amount and Dr/Cr status of each transaction. Payment Details, the message format will be: MCS49876

 Example of Message Format
"The last 4 tranx of your Credit Card 02Jan2009 CREDIT CARD 54.94- 03Jan2009 ADVANCES.COM 45.44- 1Jan2009 1.00- 10Dec2009 21.70+"

10. Plan A/c Rates
This function will enable you to view the Plan account interest rates for AED and USD.

Simply key in: PLAN

 Example to Message Format
"As per your request, the Interest rates for Plan A/Cs are: AED 0.750 USD 0.875"

11. Etisalat Bills – Balance Inquiry

The function will enable you to inquire your Etisalat's bills.

Simply key in: ETIBAL

For Balance Inquiry: ETIBAL xxxxxxx (The xxxxxxx is your consumer Number)

Example of Message Format

The last billed outstanding amount for your ETISALAT consumer # 0509999999 is AED 100

12. Etisalat Bills – Bills Payments

The function will enable you to pay your Etisalat Bills, such as Mobile, Landline, Internet account, Al Shamil, E-vision and Wasel numbers.

Simple key in: ETIPAY xxxxxxx yyy (The xxxxxxx is your consumer number, and the yyy is the amount you will pay)

Example of Message Format

Payment will be made shortly to your consumer number 111111111. Your Mobile banking confirmation # is 0000

For WASEL RENEWAL:

Simple Key in: ETIPAY xxxxxxx WAS (The xxxxxxx is your consumer number)

Example of Message Format

Payment of AED 100 will be made shortly to your consumer number 1000000. Your Mobile banking confirmation number is 0000

13. Cancel subscription

T
his function will enable you to unsubscribe from Mobile banking services by sending a text message to 4455. The SMS formats for canceling Mobile banking subscription are as follows:

For account:
UNSUBSCRIBE ACCT XXXXXXXXXXXXX (The XXXXXXXXXXXXX stands for the 13 or 16 digits of your account number) - This allows you to unsubscribe the Push and Pull services for a particular account

For Credit Card:
a. UNSUBSCRIBE CC XXXXX (The XXXXX stands for the last 5 digits of the credit card number) - This allows you to unsubscribe the Push and Pull services for the credit card.

b. CC XXXXX (The XXXXX stands for the last 5 digits of the credit card number) - This allows you to unsubscribe the Push services for the credit card that includes messages for Purchase/retail transactions, Utility Payments, All cash advance transactions.

For all accounts & Credit Cards registered under the same mobile number:
UNSUBSCRIBE - This option allows unsubscribing all the accounts and cards at once that have been registered with the mobile number.

14. Salik Account Recharge *

This function will enable you to recharge your Salik account and make enquires on the available balance by following the step by step procedure mentioned below:

Procedure

(1)

Register mobile number through New/Modify registration under Mobile banking menu on BankNET.

(2)

Link the Salik account number to mobile number and assign a ShortName through the option of Payment Setup under Mobile banking menu

(3)

Send SMS from the registered mobile number in the below format to 4455

For Recharge
Salik 'ShortName' Amount

For Balance Enquiry
Salik 'ShortName'

15. RTA Parking Fine Payment *

This function will enable you to pay your RTA Parking Fines and enquire on the fine amount by following the step by step procedure mentioned below:

Procedure

(1)

Register mobile number through New/Modify registration under Mobile banking menu on BankNET and tick 'RTA Payments' option.

(2)

Link the Vehicle details to mobile number and assign a ShortName through the option of Payment Setup under Mobile banking menu

(3)

Send SMS from the registered mobile number in the below format to 4455

For Fine Enquiry
RTA Ticket#

For Fine Payment
RTA Short Name Ticket#

16. Utility Payments *

This function will enable you to pay your Utility Bills such as DEWA, AADC (Al Ain Distribution Company), ADDC (Abu Dhabi Distribution Company) and EMPOWER by following the step by step procedure mentioned below:

Procedure

(1)

Register mobile number through New/Modify registration under Mobile banking menu on BankNET and tick 'Utility Payments' option.

(2)

Select Utility type and link the consumer number to mobile number and assign a ShortName through the option of Payment Setup under Mobile banking menu

(3)

 Send SMS from the registered mobile number in the below format to 4455

For Payment
Utility type ShortName Amount

17. Account Transfer *

This function will enable you to transfer funds between your own accounts as well as to third party account(s) within the group by following the step by step procedure mentioned below:

Procedure to transfer between own accounts/third party accounts within the group:

(1)

Setup beneficiary details under Transfers menu on BankNET. (For transfer to third party account(s) within the group)

(2)

Register mobile number for Transfers option through New/Modify registration under Mobile banking menu on BankNET.

(3)

 Under Transfer Setup option under Mobile banking menu, select the account/beneficiary you wish to transfer to and assign short name.

(4) Send SMS from the registered mobile number in the format - Transfer ShortName Amount to 4455.
(5) A response SMS displaying the details along with a transfer confirmation number will be sent for verification.
(6) After verification, send an SMS to 4455 with the confirmation number received in the format – TCN XXX.
(7) On successful receipt and validation of the confirmation number response SMS will be sent.

Note:

  1. Current mobile number should be updated under Profile -> Personal Details on BankNET in order to receive authentication code while setting up the transfer profile.

  2. Please ensure to remember the Short Name you specified as you will have to use it for future transfers.

  3. In the response SMS you receive, the currency specified will be that of 'From account'.

  4. It is advisable that the delivery report option of your mobile be enabled.

  5. Each transaction reference number generated via SMS will be unique to a transaction and will be valid for only 1 hr after which you will have to initiate a fresh transfer request.
